Student Services

    Student Counseling
There is a Mentor-Mentee service given to all undergraduate students. A Mentor is assigned for a small group of     students, allowing closer supervision and monitoring of the students' progress and providing an opportunity for     individual counseling. The "Mentor-Mentee" will meet at least once a semester or as required. This arrangement     is intended to facilitate student feedback on general academic and other issues as well as aiming to identify and     deal with other problems as they arise.

Also, we employ professional counselors at our partner institutions to help the students.

    Career Advisory Unit
WCC provides career guidance to students who are at the final semester of the programme. They are advised on     macroeconomic developments in Hong Kong and overseas to look for appropriate jobs as per their qualification.     WCC also provides recommendation letters to potential employers.

We are planning to conduct in-house Job Expos with renowned Industrialists.

    Further Education Advisory Services
WCC provides very good resources of overseas universities information for those students who want to pursue     their further studies overseas. WCC has allocated a dedicated officer to provide a comprehensive placement     service to students including consultation, application and liaison with the overseas universities.

    Work Placement
WCC arranges work placement opportunities for students who are in need of this service. However, for foreign     students, must obtain necessary approvals from the government departments concern, before they make such     request to the Institution.

    Student Alumni Association
The alumni are former students, former and current staff, and other friends of the University. The Alumni     Association enables you to stay in touch with the friends you made during your period of study or employment.

WCC also organise reunions and other functions. All alumni receive the "WCC News", free of charge. If you are     not currently receiving WCC News and you would like to receive more information about the Alumni Association,     please complete an Alumni Information Form available at our Partner Institutions' campuses.

WCC encourages all former WCC students, staff members and friends of WCC to remain part of the WCC family.     Whether it be through activities, fundraising, mentoring, or networking. As her reputation grows both in Hong Kong     and overseas, the value of your own qualification also increases.
